What have the London bombings got to do with the impending oil shortage?

Set against the backdrop of peak oil in 2005, thirteen men of immeasurable wealth and power known as ‘The Committee,’ are the controlling influence behind building the One World Government and have the resources of the Western Intelligence Services at their disposal. The new Iraqi democratic government take the oil industry by surprise. It decides to be truly democratic and take control of its own assets, starting with oil. Negotiations to supply the ever-increasing Chinese market get underway, and now able to vote at OPEC meetings they wish to bring the issue of alternative energy and dumping the dollar in favour of the euro to the table. The US intelligence services are far from impressed and with the US then $7 trillion in debt, the once mighty economy teeters on the edge. The United States finds an unlikely ally in the Middle East, in the form of Iran. To deflect attention away from the ongoing secret Iranian-Korean pact and their acquisition of ex-soviet materials and nuclear scientists Iran advocates increased supplies to the US. The Committee hatch a plan: The public assassination of the Iranian delegate at the next OPEC meeting with the new Iraqi government holding the planted smoking gun. One public shot to prove the Iraqi government is unstable.

They gain not only another legitimate regime change, but ‘protection’ for Iran as well. The stage is set, but in a surprise move Iran publicly changes allegiance at the last moment. The race is on to extinguish the fuse before the OPEC meeting ends in a major diplomatic incident with the smoking gun pointing right back at the USA..

John Svenski is an ex-marine and CIA agent. Highly decorated he is one of the best long distance marksmen alive. The Committee need his skills to uncover the identity of the assassin they have employed. As John digs deeper he discovers his quarry has access to Intelink-P, the most secure and sensitive database the NSA have. The biggest strength of the NSA, compartmentalisation, turns out to be its biggest weakness! Unable to trace the actual assassin and with mounting pressure exerted on the State Department from Iran, his employers turn on Svenski as the ‘armed and dangerous’ patsy – now hunted by his old colleagues he finds his only friend is the very person he has being trying to track down. They both have one thing in common - the desire to protect the women in their lives as all costs!

With global oil production in decline and Iran with nuclear capability the Middle East cards are stacked. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline running from the Caspian though Afghanistan to the Mediterranean could be their only chance of salvation. The Committee meet to decide. Do they run the risk of letting the impending crash run its unpredictable course and maybe lose a few percentage points, or do they pull the plug with Operation Die-Off?

A limited number of individuals plan to profit before oil runs out and the lights around the globe are extinguished

To remain alive, they hatch a plan to use the technology and social media platforms against themselves, bypassing all censoring, and disseminating incriminating documents to millions of people at one go.

The 25 Million Dollar Shot - A Novel

‘The airspace around the USA is the most heavily monitored in the world, as are communications. What if they were so busy concentrating on that, they had no idea what was happening under their feet?’

This novel introduces Gina Murrem. A retired sniper with the marines, now selling the ‘smart scope’ to the military worldwide

Approached by the CIA (Dan Rodriquez) she is offered a once in a lifetime deal. Take out a Columbian drug lord responsible for killing thousands of young Americans in a US-Columbian joint operation. After demonstrating the ‘smart scope’ to a Columbian general (the legit reason for being in the country) she heads into the jungle. A shot of over one mile is successful.

At the airport she is arrested for murder. Her Columbian contact at Dirección Nacional de Inteligencia denies any knowledge of the joint operation.

Languishing in a jail at Bogotá she is pulled out by a Brit working for Columbian Intelligence. They picked up details of a contract on her life and suspected the CIA might be covering their involvement.

With the down payment disappearing from her bank account, a contract on her life and having to reenter the US illegally using a coyote she waits for Dan Rodrigues in his apartment to extract an explanation or revenge. Dan got his orders from a section leader – who turns out to be a ghost at Langley.

To add to the confusion, the killed drug lord was working with the CIA. The rest of the cartel had found a different, unknown, way of exporting their product.
